The Black Church Loves Black Women and They are our Strength!

black women

Black women have been neglected for far too long under the weight of healthcare disparities. The healthcare industry must recognize our unique risks and vulnerabilities, offering us the same attention and care given to others. It's time to come together, share our stories, and demand a brighter, healthier future for all Black women. Let us refuse to be invisible any longer and take the steps necessary to reclaim our health because our lives truly matter.

Why Breast Cancer Awareness Matters

Breast Cancer Awareness

At the National Black Church Initiative (NBCI), we are committed to supporting African American women and their families in the fight against breast cancer. Together, through faith, education, and action, we can make a difference in the lives of our communities. Join us in this critical mission to provide hope, healing, and resources for those in need.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among African American women, and they face higher mortality rates compared to other groups. NBCI’s Breast Cancer Fund is dedicated to closing this gap by addressing the unique challenges African American women encounter in diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship

Our foundation bridges the gap between faith and healthcare, offering a culturally sensitive approach to education, early detection, and support services
